White Chocolate

Godiva White Chocolate LiquerAre you looking for a smooth chocolate drink to spice up those Friday and Saturday night get togethers? Check out Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur. This smooth creamy drink with a sweet taste of white chocolate is perfect alone or in cocktails. Personally I could go for a scoop of vanilla ice cream, a little vodka, a little more Godiva white chocolate and some chocolate shavings on top…then again you could just go for a splash over a few ice cubes and it’d taste just as delicious. Find Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur in your local liquor store, it might be a little pricier than you’re used to paying but believe me when I tell you, it’s completely worth it.

I purchased the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate at my local Riteaid drug store. I’m not an avid Lindt chocolate lover but then again I’m not one to refuse their chocolate either. I am, however, an avid white chocolate lover so when I spotted this delicious combination I had to give it a try.

The Chocolate: Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate

Type of Chocolate: White Chocolate

Cocoa Content: N/A

Best Eaten: With a good quality vanilla ice cream

Price: $3.50

It is not often that I discover something truly new to my tastebuds and yet the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate borders on that truly amazing experience.

Taste:

The Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate bar comes wrapped inside a silver foil which is tucked inside a thick cardboard envelope. Upon opening the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate the initial scent is akin to a Milky Bar, a smooth, sweet and mouth watering white chocolate scent.

As I take my first bite of the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate I know that I have found something truly…for lack of a better word, orgasmic. When food critics mention the words “food sex” I can most assuredly guarantee that for white chocolate lovers this bar is exactly what they were talking about. The crispness of the fine coconut pieces are discernible from the very moment my teeth sink in to the chocolate. The softer chocolate is jam packed full of tiny slivers of coconut which add a delightful texture to the fast melting white chocolate. The chocolate itself carries the milky sweetness that a white chocolate lover comes to love however, rather than carrying an unpleasant milky aftertaste the coconut continues to cleanse the palate. Overall the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate experience is a refreshing and tropical mix which, when eaten in moderation, is sure to please any white chocolate gourmand.

The after taste of the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate is sweet yet tempered by the persistence of coconut shreds which linger.

Ingredients:

The ingredients in the Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate include: sugar, cocoa butter, milk, coconut flakes, skim milk, soya lecithin (emulsifier), artificial flavorings.

The Bottom Line:

The Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate is a spectacular combination of refreshing tropical highlights and succulent sweetness undertones. It has been a while since I have found a chocolate that I actually crave but this one is most definitely it. Any white chocolate (and coconut) lover would be hard pressed to find fault in this bar.

Overall Rating:

You can purchase Lindt Excellence White Coconut Chocolate from your local Riteaid or via Lindt’s online website.

Everyone has a favorite whether it’s white, dark or milk chocolate but what is the difference between these three types of chocolate?
