To the real chocolate lover there is nothing better than a cool chocolate milkshake on a warm summer day. The truth of the matter is, however, that a plain old chocolate milkshake can get a little boring so here are some great ingredients to add to your chocolate milkshake ideas to pep it up a little!

- Try adding York Peppermint patties to add a blast of dark chocolate and mint to your chocolate milkshake.

- Try adding a whole ripe banana for a chocolate covered banana milkshake!

- Try adding a little dab of caramel sauce for a chocolate caramel sundae milkshake!

- Try adding a little cold coffee if you’re a coffee lover for a mocha chocolate milkshake!

- Try adding a little malted milk to get a good old fashioned chocolate malt!

- Try adding some delicious peanut butter if you want a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup milkshake!

- Try adding a couple of spoons of cherry juice to get a chocolate covered cherry milkshake!

- Try adding just about any of your favorite chocolate candy bars to experiment with new flavor combination’s and the delicious taste of a candy covered chocolate sundae.
