For today’s follower Friday I am picking Wolfgang Candy from Wolfgangcandy.com. I always love discovering chocolate companies that I have never tried before and Wolfgang Candy is one of those few chocolatiers I have not yet had the pleasure of running across. I picked Wolfgang Candy today not only to share their company with you but to also do a little browsing myself! Wolfgang Candy was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest family owned and managed candy companies in the United States! I can’t believe I haven’t run in to them before but it’s certainly never too late to discover new things in the realm of chocolate!
What do I love about Wolfgang Candy? Well primarily I LOVE family owned businesses, there is something more personal to a company that is family owned and that personal touch always rubs off on the final chocolate product. I also love that Wolfgang Candy has been creating candies for fundraising events of all sizes for four generations! I also love that Wolfgang Candy offers factory tours! If you have never had the opportunity to visit a chocolate factory and take a tour I highly recommend it, particularly if you are a chocolate lover. There is nothing more magical than seeing where your favorite confections are created! Lastly, albeit most importantly there is the chocolate! While I have never tasted Wolfgang candy I can tell you that the sheer selection of chocolate confections is enough to drive me crazy. From chocolate dipped fruit to chocolate covered cookies to their chocolate buffet there isn’t a chocolate choice in their sweet shoppe that wouldn’t drive any chocoholic absolutely insane! Some of my favorite picks from their huge selection are the chocolate Berry Basket Stack, the Jungle Jacks, the Raisin Clusters and the Dark Chocolate Assortment for gift giving!
If you are on the lookout for some new chocolate confections you are most definitely going to be joyously overwhelmed with the sheer variety that Wolfgang Candy offers in the online store.
